A day out – from start to completion

Willow Foundation asked me to take part on this project: Stars on Canvas 2014.
I was happy to help and decided to paint ‘A day out’ a painting inspired by the Special Days that the UK charity provides to seriously ill 16 to 40 year old.

I spent more time working on it, but edited the video so you can see the process of my painting from zero to completion.

What is Stars on Canvas?
A bi-annual charity auction of original artworks created by well known names from the world of art, illustration, sport, music and popular culture. Willow is calling all artists, celebrities and television personalities who would like to take part. Characters like Tracey Emin, Sir Richard Blake, Richard Long, Matt Damon, Jude Law, Dennis the Menace, Bagpuss and many others, whose work has helped raised valuable funds for Willow.

Since 1999 Willow has fulfilled more than 10,000 Special Days for young adults living with life-threatening conditions such as cancer, motor neurone disease, cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy and Huntington’s disease.
