Our Time in Ice at ONCA gallery

I have been invited by the ONCA gallery to participate in their new collaborative exhibition called OUR TIME IN ICE, which will showcase creative responses to the changing Arctic landscape as a result of global warming.

I made this piece with oil on a metal sheet. I decided to leave the bottom part of the metal unpainted as this creates an interesting effect that could be seen as melting ice – the metal will reflect the ambient light in the gallery space.
Profit from sales and events during the Our Time in Ice exhibition supports the Uummannaq children’s home in Greenland.

The private show will be at ONCA, 14 St George’s Place, Brighton, BN1 4GB
on Thursday Feb 28th 7-9pm for more details see. http://onca.org.uk/

If you are in Brighton I would definitely recommend a visit.  It’s a really lovely space.
